Meet the team
Founder and Executive Director
As a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) Luke's goal is to increase environmental and sustainability awareness and best practice in businesses, governments and schools.
After graduating with an MA from Edinburgh University, he worked for a multinational in Hong Kong. Whilst working as executive director for the Mihai Eminescu Trust in Romania, he had a life-altering accident, which took him 10 years to recover from. During his recovery, he researched Clear Public Space, which he founded in 2015. He also directed and created the short film ‘Nobody Knows’ to bring awareness to the issues surrounding traumatic brain injuries.
He has presented inspirational talks about the impact of environmental behavioural change and business to universities, conferences, the plastics industry and governments across Europe.
More recently, Luke’s education encompassed Cambridge University’s Institute of Sustainability in Business Sustainability and Sustainable Finance and holds membership to the Chartered Institute of Waste Managers and the Institution of Environmental Sciences.
Consultant and EIR Manager
Iona joined Clear Public Space in 2018 and manages the Environmental Impact Reviews for clients.
After graduating with an MA from Edinburgh University, she worked in political lobbying, in Parliament and as a financial journalist. In 2004 she joined a political risk firm, working on corporate investigations into companies, looking at both illegalities such as fraud and corruption, but also at ethical issues, from the disposal of toxic waste to the displacement of indigenous peoples to the sourcing of non-sustainable materials. The majority of these investigations were done for financial services clients giving her the wealth of experience to tackle difficulties involved for ESG teams in the verification of information from companies claiming to put environmental protection and sustainability at the forefront of their operations.
Iona brings a practical determination to helping clients become more sustainable and reduce their waste, and strongly believes that even the smallest changes can have a ripple effect.
Consultant- Financial Services Specialist
Rebecca consults with Clear Public Space on increasing sustainability awareness and positive change in financial institutions.

Following this, the largest part of her career has been in the Financial Sector, working in institutional markets and as a Private Wealth Manager with UBS for over ten years. Covering hedge fund managers and high net worth individuals and families, Rebecca advised on their investment portfolios and helped lead a team of ten advisors.
In 2020 Rebecca decided to go back to her roots and studied ‘Sustainable Finance’ at Cambridge University’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership. She is focused on helping financial services companies incorporate environmental change in their day-to-day operations, alongside their ESG offerings, thereby increasing their sustainability footprint.
In her spare time, Rebecca can be seen running around London’s parks.
